Typical flood-damaged floors on Siesta Key from Hurricanes Helene and Milton (2024) involved extensive water infiltration, leaving behind mud, ruined subfloors, and soaked floor coverings. Ground-level areas, particularly garages and lanais, saw water lines of 2-3 feet, resulting in saturated flooring.
