Excessive moisture from steam can loosen or damage the sealer, grout, or even the tile itself, especially in humid climates like Florida. Instead, focus on regular cleaning with mild detergents and water, avoiding heavy mopping or steam cleaning.

If you are thinking about steam cleaning your Mexican tiles DO NOT DO IT.
