Mexican Tile Renew Tech Jessica Bloomfield Warns Never Use a Floor Cleaning Company That Will Steam Clean Your Mexican Tile Floor It Does Not Work!

NEVER STEAM CLEAN YOUR MEXICAN TILE FLOOR RESULTS ARE DISASTROUS, CALL MEXICAN TILE RENEW SARASOTA FL 941-926-7444. Mexican Tile - Saltillo Tile needs to be stripped, cleaned & sealed. Never "Steam Clean" Mexican tile floors or use vinegar (Acetic acid) it will ruin the finish. Mexican Tile Renew does not use solvent based and dangerous products.

Mexican Tile Renew Tech Jessica Bloomfield Warns Never Use a Floor Cleaning Company That Will Steam Clean Your Mexican Tile Floor It Does Not Work! Steam cleaning is generally not recommended for Mexican Saltillo tile in Florida due to the tile's porous nature and potential for damage. Excessive moisture from steam can loosen or damage the sealer, grout, or even the tile itself, especially in humid climates like Florida. Instead, focus on regular cleaning with mild detergents and water, avoiding heavy mopping or steam cleaning.

If you are thinking about steam cleaning your Mexican tiles DO NOT DO IT. Hot steam water is the enemy for porous clay Mexican tiles with an applied finish, and steam cleaning them will surely ruin the tile and the sealer. If you have your Mexican tile floor steam cleaned the Mexican tile sealer will turn white and hazy, dull, and begin to peel, see photos above.

Step #1 chemical strip of Mexican tile floor. If your Mexican tiles are not coming clean and you have tried everything including cleaning your Mexican tiles the right way then it may be time for refinishing and restoration. These tiles are super porous like sponges and they start to disintegrate rapidly especially if there is a lot of foot traffic such as in kitchens, bathrooms and hallways. Don’t be fooled by the cheaper price to use steam.

Step #2 floor machine scrubs floor. The only real way to fix Mexican tiles if they can’t be cleaned is to strip them using a chemical process and a floor scrubbing machine that agitates and picks up the liquefied old sealer, also a shop vac is used to remove the liquefied old sealer.

Step #3 cleaned and stripped Mexican tile floor is let dry and then sealed with several coats of a premium, durable, non yellowing sealer.

Sarasota's Mexican Tile Restorations Estimator Jessica Bloomfield Discusses Sealing Saltillo Tile

Sarasota's Mexican Tile Restorations Estimator Jessica Bloomfield Discusses Sealing Saltillo Tile. Saltillo tiles are sealed to protect their porous surface from moisture, stains, and wear and tear, while also enhancing their natural beauty and making them easier to clean. Sealing creates a barrier that prevents liquids and dirt from penetrating the tile, thus preserving its color and appearance.
Estimator Jessica Bloomfield states that it is essential to know that you must seal unsealed Saltillo tiles to prevent dust - dirt - grease buildup, water absorption and ensure their long-term durability for your Mexican Tile Renew project. Jessica Bloomfield has been working for over 4 years cleaning and sealing Mexican tile in South West Florida.
Estimator Jessica Bloomfield tells us that Saltillo tiles are sealed to protect their porous surface from staining, moisture absorption, and wear and tear. This helps to maintain their beauty, durability, and ease of cleaning. Unsealed Saltillo tiles are susceptible to staining and damage from everyday use, while sealed tiles offer a protective barrier.

Sarasota's Mexican Tile Restorations estimator Jessica Bloomfield discusses the problems that arise in sealing Saltillo tile around a pool. While sealing Mexican -Saltillo tile inside your home is essential, sealing Mexican - Saltillo tile around a pool is problematic. Sealed Mexican - Saltillo tile around a pool is extremely slippery when wet and the sealed tile does not allow moisture to escape from the tile, thus causing the creation of mold and white spots or efflorescence.

White spots on Mexican tiles are often a result of efflorescence, a natural phenomenon where mineral salts are deposited on the surface as water evaporates up through the tile. Best bet is to power wash Mexican tile around a pool and leave bare, not sealed.
